Cut out electromagnetic noise
A high-performance non-woven fabric is specially processed to produce PULSHUT™. It uses resistive loss to convert high-frequency noise (5G, Wi-Fi, etc.) into thermal energy.
Lightweight
Since PULSHUT™ is a very lightweight product the base material of which is a non-woven fabric, replacing a metal or magnetic NSS with PULSHUT™ contributes to the weight reduction of automobiles.
Flexibility
Since PULSHUT™ is a flexible product made of a fabric, it can be applied to various components. Examples of the applications include attaching it to an uneven surface and wrapping it around a cable.
Improves GPS reception
These days, electromagnetic noise emitted from USB 3.0 is known to interfere with GPS.Attaching PULSHUT™ to an antenna can improve the sensitivity of the antenna and allow it to effectively capture weak GPS.The frequency of the noise emitted from not only USB 3.0, but also electronic components has become higher year by year, and noise whose frequency range exceeds 1GHz has been generated.

Effective for the frequency ranges of 5G and Wi-Fi
PULSHUT™ absorbs wide range of electromagnetic waves with frequency higher than that of GPS. Such high frequency ranges include those of the 5th generation mobile communication system (5G) and Wi-Fi. PULSHUT™ extensively deals with electromagnetic noise in high-frequency ranges, which is generated by in-vehicle communications between various electronic equipment.
