Improving sound absorbing performance
Precisé™ is a polyester non-woven fabric with a three-layer structure composed of spunbond fiber and melt-blown non-woven fabric. When bonded to current acoustic materials, Precisé™ can improve their sound absorbing performance.

Compatible with all sound absorbing materials
Precisé™ is effective even when it is used as the epidermis material of various acoustic materials including felt and foam.
Making the current components thinner and lighter
Parts such as a hood silencer, dash silencer, and floor carpet are used to make the in-vehicle space and the engine room quieter. However, it seems that such parts are designed to be heavy or thick to improve their sound absorbing performance.
Using Precisé™ as the epidermis material can make the parts thinner and lighter, which leads to the expansion of the in-vehicle space and to the improvement of fuel efficiency.
Cutting the costs
Using Precisé™ as the epidermis material of an existing parts can make it thinner and ligher. That reduces amount of materials and lead to a drastic cost reduction. Precise has been used by major OEM products.
Leona™ is a material which, in combination with suction blow molding, provides excellent resistance to heat aging (up to 230ºC) and stable formability for turbo ducts, which are required for long-lasting heat resistance. Leona™ material can also be used in cooling pipe for batteries, inverters, and other parts that require hydrolysis resistance.

Our unique nanocomposite materials are composites of highly heat-resistant cellulose nanofiber (CNF) and various polyamide resins. The materials excel in rigidity, dimensional stability, as well as sliding properties, and are expected to be applied to various sliding parts. They also contribute to reducing the environmental impact of parts since they utilize biomaterials, have high mechanical recyclability, and reduce the weight of parts.

With the increasing importance of environmental protection and with stricter regulations on CO2 emissions as well as fuel efficiency, the weight reduction of automobiles is becoming more and more important. Continuous Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyamide Resin (Continuous Glass Fiber) takes full advantage of the features of reinforced resin, this material has excellent strength, rigidity, and impact resistance. Therefore, the polyamide resin can be considered as an alternative to metals and contributes to the need for weight reduction.

The special polymer design of Leona™ SV series enhances the damping effect of vibration and sound compared to general polyamide 66 resin. Blending glass fiber can improve its strength and rigidity higher.
Asahi Kasei has modified the conventional polyacetal resin to take on metallic colors while achieving low VOC emission. This contributes to significant cost reduction by eliminating plating and coating process as well as reducing negative impact on the environment. The resin also has weather resistant property.

They are expected to be used in applications such as automotive parts and electrical products. MEF™ stands for "Moldable PolyEthylene Foam" Being inherently light and flexible, PE foam offers exceptional shock absorption and durability. As it is molded by steam chest molding, it can be formed into different shapes and sizes easily, and is suitable for automotive parts (especially for car interiors). It is also suitable for returnable packaging in shipping of automotive parts.
In addition to having excellent polarization properties in a wide wavelength range, this polarizing film is characterized by both easy workability (easy lamintation, bending, profile cut, etc.) and excellent heat resistance stability.
