Asahi Kasei America, Inc. will exhibit at Adhesive and Bonding Expo 2024, the continent’s largest free trade fair and conference for industrial bonding products and manufacturing, in Novi, Michigan, from June 25 to 27, 2024. Our booth will be located in the Suburban Collection Showplace at #714.

Polycarbonatediol(DURANOL™):
Polyurethane using DURANOL™ has excellent durability, hydrolysis resistance and chemical resistance, and contributes to improved performance of polyurethane products. This exhibition will feature the introduction of adhesives for EV battery-related applications (such as urethane adhesives and pouch cell lamination) as well as interior applications, utilizing their low viscosity and liquid properties.

HDI polyisocyanate(Duranate™):
Duranate™ is a crosslinker for urethane resins & coatings. Features of HDI are higher weatherability and non-yellowing, longer pot life in comparison to Aromatic polyisocyanate. We have various grades of HDI, known for their low viscosity, water-dispersible and elasticity, are being introduced. At the show, solutions designed for adhesive, sealant and gap fillers, etc. will be featured.

Epoxy Latent Curing Agents (NOVACURE®):
NOVACURE is the world’s only liquid latent hardener and curing accelerator for epoxy resins, developed based on microcapsulation technology. Our experts will be on hand at the booth to introduce the value and performance offered by this potential curing agent, and epoxy resin with low chlorine content and low elasticity will also be on display.
